Herbert Huppert gives Royal Society Bakerian Lecture

On the 24th March Professor Herbert Huppert will give the Royal Society's Bakerian Lecture. This Lecture, given annually, is the Society's premier lecture in the physical sciences. Professor Huppert is well-known for his seminal contributions to the subject of geological fluid mechanics and his recent research has focussed on fluid mechanical processes relevant to carbon sequestration. His Bakerian Lecture has the title 'Carbon storage: caught between a rock and climate change'.
