Major upgrade
COSMOS has expanded - a new SGI Altix UV1000, 6-core NehalemEX chips(768 cores in total) and 2TGB of global shared memory. Including the existing SGI Altix 4700, the total number of coresand RAM have reached 920 and 2,5TB correspondingly. Both compute systems are supported by 64TB of high performance storage.
