 The new remote visualization facility
(COSMOGRID) is now available - an SGI Prism running Vizserver. This offers fast 3D graphics
rendering of data sets stored on COSMOS from a remote
site. Many graphics applications (see
demos) and also remote collaboration capability. |
 Andrey Kaliazin has

 COSMOS has been upgraded to a new SGI Altix 4700, dual-core Itanium-2 chips and 456 GB of global shared memory. For details regarding the upgrade see the news page.
