About the consortium

The UK Computational Cosmology Consortium (UK-CCC) is a highly significant collaboration with participation from all the major British groups using large-scale computing resources for cosmological research. This includes members at the Universities of Cambridge, Cardiff, Durham, Oxford and Sussex, Imperial College and the Royal Observatory in Edinburgh. Two international partners at Munich and Toronto, with specialist expertise, are also included in this collaboration. A key strength of the consortium is its the interdisciplinary nature which brings together those with interests ranging from the particle physics of the early universe to late galaxy evolution, allowing the UK-CCC to develop a seamless history of the Universe from the earliest moments after the Big Bang through to the present day.
