Keyboard Controls

The keyboard controls for using GNOME - default unix desktop. These can be useful if your mouse stops working.

The GNOME keyboard shortcuts are user configuarable. To view the current settings, select the GNOME Menu button, , then select preferences, followed by Keyboard Shortcuts"

To open Keyboard Shortcuts using only the keyboard, press the key sequence Control-F1 and use the arrow keys to navigate through the menus.

To change a keyboard shortcut, select the relevant line in the Keyboard Shortcuts program and type the new keyboard shortcut you wish to assign.
