FVWM Keyboard Controls

The keyboard controls for using FVWM. Useful if your mouse stops working.

Make sure the numlock key is off.

• To switch from one virtual desktop to another use control-arrowkey
• To move the mouse cursor control-shift-arrowkey or alt-shift-arrowkey to move the mouse cursor by larger spaces.
• To move sidewards or up or down use alt-arrowkey
• To change the resolution, while you are logged in, control-alt-"minus key that is on numberical keypad"
• To restart the x session control-alt-backspace.
• To switch to a text console control-alt-F1 or F2 ... or F6 and to switch back to your x console control-aft-F7, where Fx is one of the Function keys and not the letter F followed by a number.
