How to add a signature

How do I add a signature - I am using ...

Pine

In the main setup screen, select "S" (for setup) -> "S" (for signature) and type in your signature.

It will be saved in the file .signature in your homedirectory unless you tell pine to save it else where. To do this, from the main setup screen: select "S" (for setup) -> "C" (for config) -> Move the prompt down to "signature-file" and change its value. Or delete its value for the literal-signature, which you can then edit by moving the promtp to and select "C" change value.

Mozilla

In the mozilla Mail window from the Edit menu select the "Mail & newsgroup account settings" option, select a mail account in the pane on the left "Mail for ...@..." (not any of the sub-entries). In the pane on the right it should have a section near the bottom of the list:

  < > Attach this signature

with a box for a filename. Check the box and enter a filename (full path name, e.g. /home/raid/fluids/username/.signature (type pwd at the command line to find your full path)

Webmail

Select "Manage" from the top list of icons, then "preferences", "compose" and in the "signature:" box type in your signature.

Mulberry

Click on "File" -> "Preferences" -> "Simple" -> "Signature Box". A signature box appears, type in the text you want to use for it.
