Email and remote connections to DAMTP are in seperate sections.
The webbrowsers installed on Scientific Linux are firefox and lynx. They can be started by typing their names in at a command line. Macintoshes running OSX also have safari. You can start your default browser by typing in WWW in an xterm or terminal window.
