Break Reminder Software
On UNIX with the gnome desktop there is "typing break" found via System -> Preferences -> Keyboard.
Or you can use xwrits. An example command line to start it:
xwrits typetime=30 breaktime=5 after 15 clock
On Windows you can use "RSI prevention" from Start -> DAMTP Apps
Regular Breaks and Exercise are Good
From an article about DVT:
"researchers say anybody who uses a computer for prolonged periods should undertake frequent leg and foot exercises, and take regular breaks away from the screen."
