1617) 18/08/11  Maple-15 for testing

SUMMARY: We now have Maple-15 installed for people to test.

Maple version 15 (actually 15.01) is now available on Linux using the commands maple-15 for the command line interface, and xmaple-15 for the graphical interface. Currently the version launched from the Gnome menus is still Maple-14.

As with Maple-14 we have both the the x86_64 64-bit and the the i386 32-bit versions available.

If you use Maple please try your existing code/worksheets with the new version, as we plan to make it the default in about 10 days unless there are reports of new problems.

Maple-15 may be installed on the MacOSX machines that we maintain in the next few days - if there is any demand. Please let us know if you are willing to test the MacOSX version.

Please let us know if you spot any problems by mail to help@maths.cam.ac.uk and send any complaints etc to jp107@damtp.cam.ac.uk
