Emptying and disabling Mozilla's Cache
Mozilla on OSX uses a local cache. This means you waste quota space with copies of the webpages you have viewed. As the university has a cache, your webpages are already cached there.
Emptying the CacheTo remove all files in your local Mozilla Cache, start Mozilla. Under the Mozilla menu select Preferences then Advanced and finally
. Select the Clear Cache button.
Disabling CachingTo disable caching under Mozilla, start Mozilla . Under the Mozilla menu select Preferences then Advanced and finally
. Change the figure in the Cache box to a zero (as in the screenshot).
