Mozilla
Cache Preferences Screenshot Mozilla on OSX uses a local cache. This means you waste quota space with copies of the webpages you have viewed. As the university has a cache, your webpages are already cached there.

  1. Emptying the Cache

To remove all files in your local Mozilla Cache, start Mozilla. Under the Mozilla menu select Preferences then Advanced and finally . Select the Clear Cache button.
  2. Disabling Caching

To disable caching under Mozilla, start Mozilla . Under the Mozilla menu select Preferences then Advanced and finally . Change the figure in the Cache box to a zero (as in the screenshot).
