How to print a dvi file single sided
dvips defaults to double sided (duplex) printing. Below is an example of how to print a file called test.dvi single sided. There are two ways.
-
Use the kprinter program
dvips test.dvi -o '|kprinter'Once the kprinter box appears, select properties in order to set the options you need. Kprinter offers a drop down menu to select the name of the printer. -
Use the command line option for one sided
dvips test.dvi -o '|lpr -o sides=one-sided'To specify a printer name eg galaxy use -Pdvips test.dvi -o '|lpr -Pgalaxy -o sides=one-sided'
