How to print single sided from Firefox and SeamMonkey (mozilla)

The default way of printing in DAMTP is duplex (double sided).

You have a choice either

• Create a new profile and then configure the printing GUI tool to print single sided.
  • To do this
  • Exit out of Firefox if necesary and start Firefox (or SeaMonkey) with the command Firefox -p or SeaMonkey -p .
  • Create a new profile.
  • Then follow these instructions to select your printer and tell it to print single sided. The instructions are identical to configuring Thunderbird for printing single sided.

• Teach your current profile how to select the GUI tool for printing configurations and then configure the tool.
  • Follow these instructions on setting the program to use guiprint to set your program to use the printer /opt/damtp/bin-share/guiprint
  • Then follow these instructions about setting kprinter for single sided printing to configure the GUI printer interface to print single sided. The instructions are identical to configuring Thunderbird for single sided printing.
