Public Computers
Public Computers are computers which anyone in the department may log into remotely. Usually they are sitting in an office somewhere and functioning as someones desktop computer. Some of the public computers are also in public areas and these can be logged into directly by anyone in the department.
Never ever powercycle a public computer, others may be using it even if they are not logged into it. Public computers should not be locked for long periods of time.
