Desktop Services was called Public Workstation Facility (PWF)

The Desktop Services / Public Workstation Facility (PWF) provides dual boot Windows XP and Linux computers. It is available to all members of the department receive access to these computers.

There are three areas in CMS with PWF computers you may use:

• The Moore Library.
• Room GL.04 - students using these for the CompBio Mphil course and CATAM have priority use.
• The PartIII area in the centre of the basement in Pavilion B. Part III students have priority for these.
