  • ATHENS; National authentication system, giving username and password for Web of Science and other databases (Login to 'self-registration'). Details from DAMTP Information Office
  • BLPC, British Library Public Catalogue, and British Library Current Serials
  • Cambridge Scientific Abstracts Illumina database. Mainly bio, environmental and oceanographic databases; access via .cam domain or ATHENS.
  • Community of Science (COS); resources for research. Includes the COS Funding Opportunities database, containing over 23,000 records of available funding, with an individual funding alert account facility. The database can be accessed without a username or password from computers on the cam.ac.uk network (Further information from the Research Services Division).
  • CURL OPAC; Consortium of University Research Libraries - online catalogues of many of the major university research libraries in UK & Ireland
  • Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO), an online library of over 135,000 18th Century books. Currently available within the University of Cambridge without password.
  • Engineering gateway, EEVL. A RDN-JISC funded site providing access to engineering resources online, now includes mathematics and computing
