Expand window

This option is designed to enable windows to be expanded by a factor of two in either direction. This expansion applies a countour-based algorithm which leads to more pleasing images if expanded by a large amount.

Window Selection: Window to be expanded

The window selection submenu is produced to enable specification of the window to be expanded. Further information on window specification is available from [H Help] within the submenu.

Expand in Horizontal or Vertical ?

The window may be expanded by a factor of two in either direction.

Duplicate to what buffer (-1 for current buffer) ?

This option specifies the destination buffer to which the image is to be written. A value of -1 will give the current output buffer.

Cursor Positioning: Destination for top left corner of window

The position of the scaled, shifted and transformed window in the destination buffer is specified by using the cursor submenu to locate the top left corner of the resulting window. For more details on cursor operation, refer to [H Help] within the cursor submenu.
