Alter Intensity Range for Dumping
This option is provided as a quick method of rescaling an image to make the
most use of the available intensity range prior to producing a PostScript
screen dump.
Adjust intensity range of which buffer ?
This entry specifies which buffer contains the image to be adjusted. Any
buffer may be specified. The selected buffer will be made the current
output buffer.
Base on Window or whole Screen ?
The adjustment process may be based on either a window within the buffer
(<W>), or the contents of the entire screen (<S>)
Window Selection: Region to base adjustment on
If the adjustment is to be based on a window, then the window selection
submenu will be produced to enable this. Further information on windows is
available from [H Help] within the submenu.

Degree of saturation:
=1 => use whole range
>1 => force limits to black or white
<1 => under saturate
Saturation factor ?
This entry specifies how saturated the adjusted image is to be. The
intensities are adjusted in the following manner:
p <-- 128 + Saturation*255*(p-Mean)/(pMax-pMin)
where iMin and iMax are the minimum and maximum intensities, Mean is the
mean of pMax and pMin and Saturation is the saturation factor.
