Display Polynomial Fit
Display Polynomial Fit
The purpose of this option is to allow the polynomial fitted to the buffer
to be rendered in a buffer or window as an image. The value of the
polynomial is calculated for each pixel lying within the window, checked
against the limits imposed by eight bits, and copied to the required
buffer.
Display polynomial in which buffer ?
This entry specifies the buffer in which the polynomial is to be displayed.
Any valid buffer may be used. The buffer chosen is made the current output
buffer, with a copy in buffer 0 for extended memory buffers.
Display polynomial in Window or whole Screen ?
The polynomial may be rendered to a window (<W>) within the specified
buffer, or the entire screen (<S>) of that buffer. If a window is selected,
then the image in the region outside the window will be preserved.
Window Selection: Region to display polynomial in
If the polynomial is to be displayed in a window, then DigImage creates the
normal windows submenu to aid specification of the required window.
Operation of this submenu is in the normal fashion, with more information
available from [H Help] within the submenu.
