Display Intensity Scale
Display Intensity Scale
This facility creates a bar along one edge of the display with intensities
varying linearly from 0 to 255.
Place intensity scale at Bottom, Top, Left, Right, in Window or Nowhere ?
The choice given here specifies where DigImage will place the intensity
scale. The intensity scale will destroy the information it overwrites.
Placing the scale at the Bottom (<B>), Top (<T>), Left (<L>) or Right (<R>)
produces a bar 32 pixels wide going from bottom to top or left to right as
appropriate. If the scale is located at the top or the bottom, the lowest
intensity value is on the left hand edge of the buffer. If the scale is
located at the left or right hand edges, the lowest intensity value is at
the bottom of the screen. Selecting the Window (<W>) option allows the
user to define a rectangular window in which the intensity scale will be
created. If Nowhere (<N>) is specified, the intensity scale is not plotted.

Window Selection: Region for intensity scale
If the intensity scale is to be placed in a window, then the Window
Selection submenu is produced to allow interactive specification of the
window in which the scale is to be placed. For details on how to operate
the window submenu, consult [H Help] within the submenu.
Increasing intensity Up, Down, Left, Right or diagonally (numeric pad)?
This selection determines the direction in which the intensity scale
increases in intensity. Use the keys on the numeric pad for diagonal
scales.
