Display Summary of Buffers - Specified

Display Summary of Buffers - Specified

This option creates a mosaic of the contents of up to 36 buffers. The user specifies which buffers are to be included in the mosaic, and the order in which they appear. This option is similar to [J Display summary of buffers - automatic] but is more general.

Buffers to be included in mosaic

Include which buffer ?

mosaic. Any valid buffer may be used, except that specifying buffer zero may lead to unexpected results for that tile. Note that a buffer may be included more than once if desired. The buffers will be ordered across the screen then down.

Another buffer ? Answering yes (<Y>) allows further buffers to be specified. No (<N>) finishes the input of buffer numbers.

{If the number of buffers specified was not a perfect square}

There will be more buffers than tiles. Set blank tiles to what intensity ?

The number of buffers specified was not a perfect square. As a result some of the tiles in the mosaic will be left blank. They will be set to the intensity specified here.

Put buffer numbers on the tiles ?

The tiles making up the mosaic may optionally be numbered with their corresponding buffer number by responding <Y>. Pressing <N> suppresses numbering.
