This submenu contains the available mathematical operations between a buffer and a constant value. If the result falls outside the normal intensity range of 0 to 255 the intensity may be either wrapped or saturated (set to the corresponding limit).
This option simply adds a constant (a) to all the intensities (p) contained within the image.
This operation divides all the intensities (p) by the constant value (a).
This option raises the specified constant (a) to the power of the intensity (p).
This option allows the user to specify explicity the formula by which the buffer is to be transformed. The formula is specified in terms of the input intensity P.
This option produces intensities which are a multiple (a) of the log (base 10) of the scaled intensity (b*p).
This option multiplies the intensity (p) by the specified constant (a).
The resultant intensity is a multiple (a) of the initial intensity raised to the power of the constant (b).
This option produces the reciprocal intensity field, scaled by the constant (a).
This option reduces the intensities of the pixels by the amount specified.
This option effectively inverts the buffer and then adds or subtracts a constant.
