Load window from .BMP file
Load window from .BMP file
This option loads 1, 4 or 8 bit Windows bit map files into a specified
window within a frame buffer. The bit map is automatically scaled to
completely fill the window. The output LUT is automatically changed to
that associated with the bitmap.
Load .BMP to which buffer ?
This entry specifies the buffer into which the Windows 3.x .BMP image is
to be loaded and rescaled.
Name of Windows BMP file to load (.BMP default extension) ?
The file specified at this prompt will be loaded into the buffer
requested. If no extension is given, DigImage will supply a .BMP
automatically. If a blank extension is required, terminate the file name
with a dot.
Load bit map to Window or whole Screen ?
The bit map may be loaded into either the whole buffer (<S>), or into a
subwindow within the buffer (<W>). The image will be scaled automatically
so that it fits within the specified region. Note that the aspect ratio of
the frame grabber buffer is different from that of the computer monitor
under Windows. The default window maximises the size of the image while
maintaining the aspect ratio. If a Window is selected, then the normal
method and considerations for specifying a window are relevant. Help with
window specification is available through the H help option in the windows
submenu.
