Extract Single Frame From Movie

This option extracts a single image from a movie file.

Name of movie to extract frame from ?

The movie file from which the image is to be extracted is specified here. This file must already exist.

Buffer for extracted image ?

This entry determines which buffer the extracted image is written to. The selected buffer is made the current output buffer.

Reading movie information...

Time for image to be extracted ?

This entry specifies the time for which the image is required. The image extracted will be the image at the time specified or, if there is no image for that time, the first image following that time.

The time at which the image was actually recorded is returned in !!R0.

Error Message:
Unable to find requested image in movie file

An image could not be located in the movie file corresponding to the requested time. The most probable cause is that the movie was not recorded for the time requested.

Message:
Extracted image recorded at !!FR0=!!FR0s (field !!R1=!!R1)
as sample !!R2=!!R2.
