Restore Buffer

Restores DigImage .PIC (compressed and raw), .TIF and .BMP images. For .TIF and .BMP, the number of pixels is preseverd rather than the aspect ratio. To preserve the image aspect ration, use [B Load Windows BMP file].

Restore to which buffer ?

The file can be loaded from disc into any valid buffer. This buffer will be made the current output buffer. If the specified buffer is in extended memory, then it will first be copied to buffer 0. On completion of the load operation, the resultant buffer will be copied back to extended memory.

Name of file containing image ?

The name of the file (and optionally the path) to be loaded into the window must be specified. If the file does not exist, DigImage will flag an error. The following image file formats are supported:

.PIC raw and compressed .TIF 8 bit, uncompressed; preserves number of pixels .BMP 1 to 8 bit; preserves number of pixels.

To load a .BMP file, preserving the aspect ratio, use [B Load window from .BMP file].
