This menu provides access to various calibration facilities integrated into DigImage. These facilities fall into two main categories: coordinate systems and intensity information. Both categories have internal consistency and external world components to them. The internal consistency components cater with artificial variations introduced by the video and frame grabber hardware. The external world components map the image onto real world quantities.
This option provides access to the dynamic intensity calibration menu. This menu contains options for mapping intensities onto a reference intensity scale, and mapping intensities onto some external field (such as concentration).
This option provides access to the cursor submenu, with the option of writing the coordinates of points located to an output file.
The menu accessed by this option provides support for automatic mapping of the pixel coordinate system to allow for jitter, camera movement, etc.
This menu enables the world coordinate system to be defined.
