Locate Intensity Reference Windows
Locate Intensity Reference Windows
This option is used to define the reference windows. The reference
intensities are determined automatically (although may be modified using [U
Update reference intensities manually]), and the associated external field
values are requested. Each call to this option will add further windows to
those already defined. Use [I Initialise intensity mapping] to clear any
existing windows if desired.
Specify intensity reference windows using which buffer ?
This entry specifies the buffer to be used while interactively specifying
the reference windows. The mean intensity of each of the reference windows
is used as the reference intensity for the windows. The contents of the
buffer are not altered.
Window Selection: Intensity reference
The window selection submenu is produced for each reference window. The
windows should be positioned within the intensity scale, preferably with a
boarder of two or more pixels on each side. The windows should be as large
as possible while maintaining an approximately uniform intensity across
them. For assistence on operation of the windows submenu, consult [H Help]
within the submenu.
Reference intensity for window ?

Reference concentration for window ?

the intensity of the reference window.

Answering yes (<Y>) allows a further window to be specified, while no (<N>)
