Find current reference mapping
Find current reference mapping
This option forces DigImage to find the current location of the permanent
reference points in a particular frame. Once the points have been found,
then the mappings between the current pixel and reference pixel coordinate
systems is determined. Note that many DigImage routines automatically call
this routine.
Find permanent reference points in which buffer ?
The permanet reference points may be located in any valid buffer. Once
selected, the buffer is made the current output buffer. Extended memory
buffers are first copied to buffer 0. Note that only reference points
currently registered with DigImage will be searched for, and these will be
searched for only over a finite window around their expected location. If a
point is not found, then it will not be used in generating the mappings. If
too few points are found, then DigImage is unable to generate the mappings;
an identity mapping would then be used.
The following variables are returned:
!!R0 RMS error for pixel to world
!!R1 RMS error for world to pixel
!!R2 First constant for i in pixel to world
