Transform Image Using Coordinate Mapping
Transform Image Using Coordinate Mapping
This option may be used to remap an image to, for example, undo geometric
distortion present in the original image. The option takes the current
world coordinate system and uses the inverse mapping world->pixel to
determine the intensities of an image where the world coordinates are
orthogonal and aligned with the pixel coordinates.
Buffer containing source image to be transformed ?
The source image to be transformed. This may be be overwritten by the
new image.
Buffer for transformed image ?
Specify the buffer to which the transformed image is to be written. This
may be the same as the source buffer.
Output to Window or whole Screen ?
The transformed image may be output to either a window or the entire
screen.
Window Selection: Region for transformed image
If a Window is selected, then the normal method and considerations for
specifying a window are relevant. Help with window specification is
available through the H help option in the windows submenu.
x coordinate for left-hand side of output window ?
The remapped image is displayed with the x axis horizontal and y axis
vertical. Enter the x coordinate for the left-hand side of the output
window.
x coordinate for right-hand side of output window ?
The remapped image is displayed with the x axis horizontal and y axis
vertical. Enter the x coordinate for the right-hand side of the output
window.
y coordinate for bottom of output window ?
The remapped image is displayed with the x axis horizontal and y axis
vertical. Enter the y coordinate for the bottom of the output window.
y coordinate for top of output window ?
The remapped image is displayed with the x axis horizontal and y axis
vertical. Enter the y coordinate for the top of the output window.
