Time to Begin Tracking
Time to Begin Tracking
This option specifies the time at which the tracking process is to start,
relative to the start of the experiment.
Experimental time at which tracking starts ?
This entry specifies where the tracking process should start relative to
the start of the experiment. Prior to starting the tracking, the video tape
should be positioned to coincide exactly with the start of the experiment
(a convenient way of achieving this is using a flash of a LED on the tape -
see [;VO Find next point transition]). DigImage will then position the
tape at the time specified by this entry prior to starting the actual
tracking. Times displayed during the tracking process will be relative to
the start of the experiment, but sample numbers relative to the start of
the tracking process. The true times (relative to the start of the
experiment) may be recovered during the subsequent analysis by accessing
this entry. The start time should be specified using the normal DigImage
time format and may be positive or negative. Note that the direction of
this time is independent of whether the tracking is forward or backward in
time.
