Total Tracking Time
Total Tracking Time
This option specifies the total (experimental) time for which the video
tape of an experiment is to be tracked. The primary limitation on the
tracking time is the available hard disk space for the resulting tracking
files. Samples of the experiment are taken at a spacing determined by [S
Sample spacing]. For each such sample, 80+6*nPart bytes of storage are
required, where nPart is the average number of particles in a sampled
image.
Total tracking time ?
This entry specifies how long the tracking process will continue for. The
time should be entered using the standard DigImage time format of
minutes:seconds. The time entered should be positive, even if tracking will
be backwards in time. The maximum time period which may be tracked is
determined by the length of the video tape, the available hard disk space
or 32767 samples, whichever is smaller.
