Window for Tracking
Window for Tracking
The particle tracking takes place in a rectangular window within the frame
buffers. Anything falling outside the window will not be considered as a
particle for tracking purposes. Permanent reference points should normally
be outside the window. The contents of the window may be further masked
with options specified by [B Background removal] and [C Contour masking].
Specify window using which buffer ?
The tracking window is specified interactively using the normal DigImage
window selection submenu. This entry allows the window to be produced with
the aid of an image already acquired by specifying the buffer in which the
image may be found. Any buffer may be used for this process. The buffer
selected will be made the current output buffer.
Window Selection: Set tracking window
The DigImage window selection submenu may then be used to specify the
tracking window. Remember that reference points should normally lie outside
the tracking window. For further help on specifying DigImage windows, see
[H Help] within the submenu.
