Send Command to VTR

This option allows a command to be sent directly to the VTR. The syntax of the command depends on the VTR being used. Refer to the appropriate manual for the VTR's serial interface for details.

Enter commands at the => prompt, or a blank line to finish

This prompt is produced to indicate that a command for the VTR is required. The reply returned by the VTR is indicated by the reply:> prompt. Control loops between the two prompts until either a blank line or <escape> is entered to indicate the end of the command sequence.

If DigImage is not operating from a command file, then the reply will be displayed, and the user prompted to press a key to continue.
