Set DigImage Replaceable String Parameter(s)
Set DigImage Replaceable String Parameter(s)
This option allows the initial values of the DigImage replaceable string
parameters !n (where n is a single digit from 0 to 9 inclusive) to be
specified. Note that this is the only mechanisme currently supported for
specifying the value of the replaceable string parameters. Entry of the
parameters will always be from keyboard, even when a command file is
active. A command file which makes use of these replaceable parameters
should generally make a call to this option to set them.
Number of parameters to be specified (0 for indefinite number) ?
This entry (which will be from a command file, should one be active)
specifies the number of parameters to be set. If the number is up to the
user, then a value of 0 will allow as many replaceable parameters as
required (up to a limit of ten).
{If creating Journal File}
Prompt for command journal/command file (parameter ##) ?
This prompt is produced only if a journal file file is being created. The
string entered at this prompt will be added to the journal file, preceded
by the !^ directive. When run as a command file, the !^ indicates the text
is to be displayed as a prompt for the user.
Value for command parameter n; blank to finish
Up to ten replaceable string parameters are available from within DigImage.
These parameters provide simple substitution of string or numeric values.
It is not possible to alter their value other than through this option,
which requires the setting of all such string parameters. Within DigImage
and command files these parameters are accessed by !n, where n is a single
digit. The values for each of the parameters should be entered in turn. If
an indefinate number was specified, then a blank line should be used to
specify all parameters have been entered; if no parameters are to be
specified, simply enter a blank line. If a journal file is being created,
then the text entered at this prompt will be added to the journal file as a
comment (line beginning with '#'), and the text replaced by a !K directive
to read the required data from the keyboard.
