Research

Andrew is a member of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics and part of the Institute of Theoretical Geophysics. His current research interests are in the area of buoyancy-driven viscous flows. These include the analysis of mantle plumes with a temperature dependent viscosity; and of sedimenting suspensions, with a particular interest in mixing and hydrodynamic diffusion.
