Research

Dr Lyu is a member of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics in the waves group. His current research interests centres around aeroacoustics, fuid mechanics and quantum mechanics. These include aerofoil noise, jet noise, flow instability, acoustic (optic) metamaterials and scattering problems in quantum mechanics.
