Research
Eric is a member of the high-energy theory group of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. His current research interests are primarily in higher spin gravity and its possible conformal field theory duals: constructing and interpreting higher spin black holes; understanding higher spin symmetry in field theory; and making concrete connections between higher spin gravity and high energy string theory. Eric is also interested in applications of holography to generic strongly coupled field theories, e.g. condensed matter systems.
