Research

Kath is a first year student in the Mathematical Genomics and Medicine (MGM) programme at the University of Cambridge. Her MRes supervisor is Chris Wallace. Her interests include network structure learning, causal learning, graph theory, Bayesian statistics, interpretable machine learning and applications to medicine.

  • 'Biclustering using sparse factor analysis to understand the human immune system', Master's rotation supervised by Chris Wallace and Ken Smith.
  • 'Rational design of antibodies to target amyloid fibril structure in Alzheimer's disease', Master's rotation supervised by Michele Vendruscolo, Paul Kirk and Pietro Lio'.
