Research

I am a PhD student in the High Energy Physics research group of DAMTP.  My current research is centred on applying the AdS/CFT correspondence to condensed matter physics. I am particularly interested in understand the holographic duals of strongly interacting fermions and in obtaining robust results for the conductivities of holographic metals. I also retain a strong interest in related topics in quantum field theory - such as large N gauge theory.

My supervisor is Prof. David Tong and I am kindly supported by an STFC studentship and ERC.

Informal Graduate Seminar Series

I organise the informal graduate seminar series for the High Energy Physics and General Relativity groups in DAMTP. If you are interested in attending, a list of past and future speakers can be found here. If you are in Cambridge and are interested in presenting a talk then please email me.
