Research

Madeleine is a member of the Institute of Theoretical Geophysics (ITG) in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. Her research is motivated by the process of carbon dioxide sequestration. She is currently working on a model that describes the propagation of two-phase gravity currents in porous media.
