Research

Ward is a member of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics High Energy Physics research group. His research interests are in theories of physics beyond the Standard Model. Currenlty, he is working on quantum field theories of fluids and symmetries of scalar fields in curved spacetimes. He also has an interest in inflationary cosmology and power spectra of primordial perturbations.
