How does the DAMTP Post-Doc Recruitment System Work?
If you are an applicant...
You will need to create an account within the system to set up your application. You may then apply for one or more jobs, and name your referees. These will be sent an email (unless you forbid it) asking them to log in to the system and provide their references. You will have feedback during this process, knowing when each of your references was submitted or if it is still outstanding. You will need to upload the following documents:
- Your Curriculum Vitae;
- Your List of Publications;
- Your Research Proposal;
- Fill in and submit the CHRIS/6 Form;
The only type of document upload accepted is PDF. Please convert any other type of file to PDF before uploading the file (how may I convert a file to PDF format?).
Once all the above steps are completed, you should close your application before the deadline for the job(s) you are applying for. You will be contacted shortly after with the result(s).
If you are a referee...
You will have received an email with your login details for one or more applicants. Using these details you will need to login to the system and set up your personal details. Once this is done you can submit a reference for each applicant you are linked to. Your applicants will have feedback in the process, and will know when you have logged in and if their reference has been sent.
The University of Cambridge is committed to a policy and practice which require that entry into employment with the University and progression within employment be determined only by personal merit and by the application of criteria which are related to the duties of each particular appointment and the relevant stipend or salary structure. No applicant for an appointment in the University, or member of staff once appointed, will be treated less favourably than another on the grounds of sex (including gender reassignment), marital or parental status, race, ethnic or national origin, colour, disability, sexual orientation, religion or age. If any employee considers that he or she is suffering from unequal treatment on grounds of sex (including gender reassignment), marital or parental status, race, ethnic or national origin, colour, disability, sexual orientation, religion or age, he or she may make a complaint which will be dealt with through the agreed procedure for dealing with grievances.
