Project Details
This is an EPSRC-funded project running from April 1994 to June 1996

The objective is to build experimental software for the debugging of feature descriptions, thereby helping in the development of effective feature recognition in solid models.

The concept is that the hardest part of feature recognition is deciding exactly what characterises the feature you are trying to recognise, and so this project separates the description of the feature from both the navigation of the solid modeller data structures and the actual recognition algorithms.
