Welcome to my personal webpage! My name is Nathalie Vriend and I invite you to take a look around. In the "personal" section I am describing how I got to move from a small rural town to places around the world.

I am currently a NERC postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Cambridge in the UK studying Granular Flows and Snow Avalanches. I received my Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology where I studied the phenomenon of Booming Sand Dunes.
