Since 01-10-2012, I am a Royal Society University Research Fellow at the
Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical
Physics (DAMTP) of the
University of Cambridge, in the Astrophysical Fluid
Dynamics and Non-linear Dynamics group. Previously, I was an STFC
postdoctoral fellow in the same group. My
research focuses on the theory of planet formation, in particular how
newly born planets interact with their place of birth, and on whether
planets can form in close binary systems.
Before coming to Cambridge, I obtained my masters degree and PhD at Leiden Observatory, under
supervision of dr. Garrelt
Mellema in the Theory Group led by prof. dr. Vincent
Icke.
