There is information about study in the faculty of Mathematics on the DAMTP home page.

The only course on what we do in the undergraduate tripos is the Part II (i.e. third year) Waves course, although the Methods, Complex Analysis/Methods and the Fluid Mechanics courses are relevant. The Master of Mathematics (aka Part III) usually offers courses related to our work. In recent years, members of the Waves Group have given courses (or parts of courses) entitled Acoustics; Shocks and Solitons; Waves and Stability; Wave Propagation and Scattering; Direct and Inverse Scattering of Waves and Sound Generation and Propagation. A variety of other courses in Part III are relevant to the group, primarily in Continuum Mechanics or Applied Analysis, for example courses in Perturbation Methods or Hydrodynamic Stability.
