Greetings!
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the LRA in the Ecole Normale Superieure,
Paris. My research interests lie in the dynamics of planetary rings and astrophysical
disks.
My boss
is Steven Balbus. We're
having a squiz at magnetohydrodynamic
turbulence and waves in accretion disks, amongst other things.
Before my stint at the LRA I was kicking around Cambridge (UK, of
course)
where I
undertook my PhD in the Astrophysical Fluid Dynamics Group at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical
Physics. My supervisor was Gordon Ogilvie.
We were studying the irregular, fine-scale structure
exhibited by Saturn's dense B-ring using
kinetic theory and hydrodynamic models.
Be my friend!
