Complex and Biological Fluids

University Senior Lecturer, University of Cambridge
Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics
Fellow of Trinity College

Research themes: I am a theorist. In my research, I use the tools of applied mathematics to address problems in biological fluid and solid mechanics, biophysics, and soft matter mechanics. Problems of current interest include the dynamics of swimming microorganisms, the flow of non-Newtonian and complex fluids, microfluidics and small-scale hydrodynamics, mixing, suspensions, and capillary flows.
