I explore environmental and geophysical flows primarily through lab experiments, complemented by idealised theoretical and numerical approaches. A lot of my work focuses on multiphase turbulent flows, and how phase change or chemical reactions influence mixing and particle transport. Some of my recent interests include cloud dynamics, extreme precipitation events, microplastic dispersal, crystallizing magmatic flows and solidifying planetary cores.
