Internal DAMTP Deadline - midday (BST) Wednesday, 15th October.

Administration of this scheme has moved to Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The current round opened on 15th of August with a closing date of 15th December 2025.

The Blavatnik Cambridge Fellowships enable early-career Israeli scientists of outstanding ability to pursue their first international postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge, while fostering scholarly exchange and greater understanding between researchers in Britain and in Israel.

Applications to this scheme will be subject to an internal review and selection by DAMTP Directors Committee (DDC).

Potential applicants should first contact a member of DAMTP academic staff in an appropriate area to discuss the possibility of submitting a pre-application to the DDC.

Deadline for pre-applications is midday on Wednesday, 15th of October.

Candidates wishing to apply through DAMTP as their Host Institution should submit the following by the above date:

  • CV
  • Publication list
  • Draft of the application to the scheme (not necessarily a final version)
  • Two letters of reference, at least one of which must be from outside Cambridge.

Selected candidates will be informed in good time to apply for a Blavatnik Fellowship by the funder deadline of 15th December.
